LoanGraphs vs MortgageCoach: the presentation vs the workbench

MortgageCoach is not a random CRM with a PDF button. It is the industry’s long-running borrower decision / presentation product — founded in 1997, now built by TrustEngine. LoanGraphs is not trying to out-polish a 29-year presentation franchise. It is the LO workbench you use before, after, and between those conversations: contacts, four-scenario reports, Refi Miner, and reviewed email.

Who MortgageCoach is (verified)

From TrustEngine’s public product, shop, Encompass, and about pages (fetched August 2026): MortgageCoach is TrustEngine’s borrower education / decision platform. TrustEngine’s homepage calls it the industry’s leading borrower decision platform and dates the product to 1997.

It is built to turn loan data into personalized, visual loan comparisons and documented borrower guidance — “from presenting numbers to delivering strategy.”

AI Presentation Builder (publicly launched May 2026): start from a prompt, document upload, screenshot, voice, or template. TrustEngine says desktop and mobile stay in sync. Borrowers can interact with a presentation; LOs get summarized chat transcripts (TrustEngine’s description).

Encompass by ICE integration: create a Loan Comparison from the Encompass workspace without re-keying the file (TrustEngine’s Encompass page).

TrustEngine is also the company that absorbed Sales Boomerang. Credit-trigger language now appears on the MortgageCoach Individual plan. For the parent-platform / intelligence angle, see LoanGraphs vs TrustEngine.

  • Individual plan, published on TrustEngine’s shop page: $150/month per user. Confirm current terms with TrustEngine.
  • Listed inclusions: borrower presentations (desktop + mobile), enhanced AI (presentation builder + borrower chat), coaching and immediate opportunities, credit triggers and data ingestion, insights/reporting, customer portal, self-service support, weekly webinar training.
  • Enterprise: custom pricing for 5+ users; TrustEngine lists branch support, live training, and integrations (ICE/Encompass, SFTP, Zapier).
  • Public integration list also names pricing engines (Optimal Blue, Polly, Lender Price) and fee providers (First American, Lodestar, ClosingCorp). Confirm what your shop actually has turned on.

What LoanGraphs does instead — and in addition

LoanGraphs is not an LOS and not a presentation theater. It is mortgage software for loan officers that works alongside whatever originates the file.

LoanGraphs does not claim an Encompass-native presentation workspace, borrower-facing presentation chat, or a 1997-era coaching methodology. If that is the job, MortgageCoach is the specialist.

If you came here for “which one kills the other,” you are asking the wrong question. Ask: do I need a coaching deck, a working report + database, or both?

  • Free, $0 forever, no credit card — client and lead database plus U.S. market data for 3,200+ counties.
  • Growth, $49/month or $580/year — purchase and refinance reports (up to four scenarios), Loan Estimate-style fee sections, home value / equity reports, Refi Miner, unlimited AI email (Gemini, Grok, and Claude tiers), and branding.
  • Professional, $99/month or $1,180/year — everything in Growth. A Professional year-commit includes custom pricing integration free (live scenario pricing and Refi Miner from the source you connect).
  • Enterprise (custom) — multi-user, branches, company branding, API, and dedicated support.

Which one is the right buy?

When to pick MortgageCoach

  • Your company standard is a MortgageCoach Loan Comparison and your manager scores you on using it.
  • You live in Encompass and want the comparison generated from the file.
  • You want the borrower to click around the presentation and you want that session documented.
  • You are buying a coaching culture, not a contact database.

When to pick LoanGraphs

  • You need a $0 database this afternoon and reports at $49/month or $580/year when you are ready.
  • The deliverable is a working scenario report a realtor can forward — payment, cash to close, LE-style fees, break-even — not a strategy seminar.
  • You also need Refi Miner, home-value reports, and AI email in the same login.
  • You are not on Encompass, or you do not want another system inside the LOS.

When to use both

  • TrustEngine/MortgageCoach flags a coaching moment or you build the formal presentation.
  • LoanGraphs holds the contact, runs the four-way purchase or refi math you will actually quote, and sends the follow-up you approved.
  • Your LOS remains the system of record.
  • You are not “double paying for comparisons.” You are paying MortgageCoach for how the advice is delivered and documented, and LoanGraphs for the rest of the LO week.
